End The Silence

Filling our heads
With the simplest of meds
They tell us everything’s gonna be ok
They tell us there’s nothing to fear
As they wipe away all of their tears
Well this is not the real world
And this is not our true life
This is the peace that they’re
Drugging us with

So now let’s end this silence
And let’s start the violence
We’ll tear this entire government down
All I can feel is my rage
As I remain trapped in this cage
And now I know that none of your laws
Can be justified

And as they’re nearing their end
They all try to pretend
That everything’s gonna get better
They all pray to their gods
But they’re nothing but frauds
They’re just desperate to find
A cleaner way

So now let’s end this silence
And let’s start the violence
We’ll tear this entire government down
All I can feel is my rage
As I remain trapped in this cage
And now I know that none of your laws
Can be justified

And as they chain us down
They try to keep us on the ground
But they don’t know how hard it is to
Break us
They don’t know how hard it is to
Take us
But they continue to try
They just want us to cry
But they will never break us
And they will never take us
